Double Edge Safety Razors

The classic two-piece safety razor. Drop in a double-edge blade, shave, swap the blade out when it's dull. Blades cost about a dime each instead of five bucks a cartridge, and a good razor lasts decades.

We carry two styles. Butterfly heads twist open at the bottom of the handle so you can drop the blade in without disassembling anything, easiest pick if you're new. Open comb heads have teeth instead of a solid bar across the top, which handles thick stubble and longer hair better but runs a little more aggressive on the skin.

Grab some blades while you're at it. Different brands shave differently and the only way to know what works for your face is to try a few.
