Heavy beard oil

I’ve been a big fan of Texas Beard oil for years. Big Thicket is my jam. I saw the heavy oil and gave it a try - very nice. It’s a perfect addition for my arsenal on wild beard days (and you know what I speak of). This heavy beard oil now has a permanent spot in my cabinet. Thanks guys!

Tweak it...

The actual product is great. I think you nailed that. Being thicker than the oil is much better. However--it's hard to get out of the tube. You can squeeze it, but nothing come out unless the product is all the way at the bottom. Also--I went through a tube in a couple weeks. That price is WAAAAY too high for a product that only lasts that long. Fix those things and I will buy more. Or don't...and I won't.

I rated 3 stars previously, but I have begun using the heavy oil as a balm pretty much for control. Control is excellent. I just wish the scent was closer to the big thicket oil and balm.

It's heavy alright.

this is thick stuff. I tried it a couple times. I like the thickness, and maybe my hands were cold, but it did not seem to "melt" like the balm does(typically use oil and balm). I didn't like that it doesn't seem to get all the way the the skin. I always thought "oil for skin, balm for control". The control is there, definitely, but I don't want my skin to dry out. Also the scent(big thicket) is not true to the scent uniformity between the oil and balm. I will try it again no that I have cut some length off. As always, ordering and shipping is fast and easy.,

This is the third time I buy this particular product and will keep buying it. Makes my beard feel soft and moisturized. Don't need to use a lot, just a drop will go a long way. Wife approved product.

Thick and Heavy, like I like my woman.

As my beard gets longer, I find that I prefer a heavier oil that will hydrate and maintain moisture throughout the day. Simple jojoba and Argan oil are nice, but the bigger the beard, the greater the need for long term hydration. This has been perfect. My beard stays hydrated and not frizzy or poofy. I’d only ever use this for the rest of my beard life if I could.

The heavy beard oil itself is great. The product is awesome. However the bottle it cokes in is not. You can not tell how much is left and the style of the bottle keeps you from being able to use all of the product that comes inside. A new container for this product would make it the best thing on the market.

I've had a beard for a little over 6 years now and I have tried dozens of brands and types of beard oil/balm. This has been the first one to hold it's scent this long and still hold well. Very impressed. Will be buying again in the future.

This stuff is awesome. It leaves my beard nice and soft and moisturized, while still allowing it to hold it in place after I comb it. The smell is very faint, so it will not overpower any aftershave or deodorant or whatever you use. Word of caution, use less than you think. This stuff goes a lot farther than just oil or just balm. A small dab will do you. Do not make my mistake and apply a normal dime size drop like I used to with regular oil. That much of this stuff will make it look wet like you just stepped out of the shower, but it is hard to get out of the beard until it soaks in fully.

Take a small dab, rub it into your hands and fingers, then apply it to the skin under the beard. Then simply comb it evenly through the beard and you are good to go for the day. I have no issues making it through a full work day without my beard beginning to frizz like it would do with cheaper oils. I highly recommend this heavy oil, and it will be my permanent product as long as I have this beard.

I’ve used Texas beard company products for years. I love the oil and the balm. I recently tried the heavy beard oil for the first time. I do really like the product, but I wish I would have gotten a different scent. I love the pecan coffee beard balm but when I bought the heavy beard oil I got the big thicket scent and it’s not my favorite. But I do love the heavy oil, next time will try a different scent.

I love the product. As for the container it comes in, I have had problems with it each time I have purchased it. Love the heavy beard oil for when I braid my beard. If you guys have problems getting the last of it out of the bottle, I suggest that you place it in a cup of warm water for a minute or two and the product will come right out.

This is a way better version of beard butter that I use everyday. I have about a 10inch long full blonde beard, and I have been only really using beard oil everyday and the occasional beard butter at night. This heavy beard oil has taken over everything. Only thing I wish is it was slightly thinner, but that is just for me specifically because of the length of my beard I dont need as much styling because my beard weighs itself down

Heavenly Beard Oil

I’ve never been a big Fan of oils but as my beard has grown in length I needed something to get down to the roots and skin. I decided to try this new heavy beard oil and I’m so glad I did. This stuff has enough weight to keep it from running but it’s light enough to work all the way down. It should be called heavenly beard oil! Plus the smell is great and any left over goes straight into me hands and arms. Great product!

It's okay. But for the 20$ that you spend on it do not expect it to last too long. While the size of the bottle you are purchasing is stated, the size really is too small to make it a regular in your arsenal for the daily upkeep of your beard. Plus when I received the bottle it was gooey as if it had leaked out a little during shipment. Disappointing...

I will stick with the beard balm products you have to offer.

I’ve only had this for a few weeks, but I do like it. I was kind of hoping it would check the box of both a balm and oil. It definitely has the oil thing going for it, but the hold isn’t quite that of a balm. Either way, it does still provide some hold, just not as much as balm. They weren’t kidding either. This stuff doesn’t take much. Just a little goes a long way.
