I am liking it so far. I have to store it with the lid up because the oil starts to separate and comes out of the tube oil only.. I like the smell but the wife doesn't like it as much as i do. So on the next order i might try a different scent. I have super curly and wild hair and this is the first time i have grown a beard out because i was in the Air Force for 22 years and wasn't able to. So.... I am trying to figure out how to take this beast.

Great Company!! The heavy oil is great last longer than regular oil and is great when your in a hurry and still want your beard on point!
This heavy Beard oil is good stuff. I love the smell, and it keeps my beard from blowing up in my face too bad. Wish I could get some moustache wax in the Big Thicket scent.
Great product. Very difficult to squeeze out of the container. Especially when it gets beyond half full
A dab will do you I’ve only had this for a few weeks, but I do like it. I was kind of hoping it would check the box of both a balm and oil. It definitely has the oil thing going for it, but the hold isn’t quite that of a balm. Either way, it does still provide some hold, just not as much as balm. They weren’t kidding either. This stuff doesn’t take much. Just a little goes a long way.
Awesome The Heavy beard oil is a great invention. Can use it instead of oil then balm. Scent is amazing. Highy recommend

Big Thicket heavy oil It was a little disappointing. I was expecting a more woodsy smell. This had an overpowering odor that did not match what I remember ordering before. It wasn’t the heavy oil aspect as I also ordered the standard oil and it had the same smell.
Excellent This stuff is awesome. It leaves my beard nice and soft and moisturized, while still allowing it to hold it in place after I comb it. The smell is very faint, so it will not overpower any aftershave or deodorant or whatever you use. Word of caution, use less than you think. This stuff goes a lot farther than just oil or just balm. A small dab will do you. Do not make my mistake and apply a normal dime size drop like I used to with regular oil. That much of this stuff will make it look wet like you just stepped out of the shower, but it is hard to get out of the beard until it soaks in fully.
Take a small dab, rub it into your hands and fingers, then apply it to the skin under the beard. Then simply comb it evenly through the beard and you are good to go for the day. I have no issues making it through a full work day without my beard beginning to frizz like it would do with cheaper oils. I highly recommend this heavy oil, and it will be my permanent product as long as I have this beard.

First time buyer. Great product. I've had a beard for a little over 6 years now and I have tried dozens of brands and types of beard oil/balm. This has been the first one to hold it's scent this long and still hold well. Very impressed. Will be buying again in the future.
Good Product, Poot packaging Let me start out by saying that I love Texas Beard Co and will continue to buy their products. I have a medium-sized beard. It’s outgrown the effectiveness of oil, and usually requires the balm. I honesty prefer to use a bit of oil followed by balm. Therefore, I figured the Heavy Beard Oil would be perfect. The product itself is not bad. I do like the consistency and think it works well for my beard. It’s the packaging that I don’t like. It is very easy to squeeze out too much. I found myself wasting some of my valuable product. Once I used the oil for a few weeks, the opposite happened: it was too difficult to squeeze out just enough. Whereas the oil and balms last me a while, I feel that I went through the Heavy Beard Oil a lot sooner. I do not recommend the product as it is currently sold. I will go back to the oil and balm.
Good. I rated 3 stars previously, but I have begun using the heavy oil as a balm pretty much for control. Control is excellent. I just wish the scent was closer to the big thicket oil and balm.

Great oil The heavy beard oil is just what I want If I don't need all the control of a balm but want a little more than just an oil. Be advised that you will use much less of the heavy oil than you would a regular oil. Rule of thumb, a little goes a very long way. Again love the Big Thicket sent.
Great Product I like a beard oil on those days after a trim and when a balm is optional. The viscosity of the heavy beard oil makes application easier and less oil is required. I really like the scent of the Big Thicket balm and oil. Great product and great addition to my beard grooming supplies.

Heavenly Beard Oil I’ve never been a big Fan of oils but as my beard has grown in length I needed something to get down to the roots and skin. I decided to try this new heavy beard oil and I’m so glad I did. This stuff has enough weight to keep it from running but it’s light enough to work all the way down. It should be called heavenly beard oil! Plus the smell is great and any left over goes straight into me hands and arms. Great product!
Heavy beard oil I’ve been a big fan of Texas Beard oil for years. Big Thicket is my jam. I saw the heavy oil and gave it a try - very nice. It’s a perfect addition for my arsenal on wild beard days (and you know what I speak of). This heavy beard oil now has a permanent spot in my cabinet. Thanks guys!
Heavy beard oil The heavy beard oil itself is great. The product is awesome. However the bottle it cokes in is not. You can not tell how much is left and the style of the bottle keeps you from being able to use all of the product that comes inside. A new container for this product would make it the best thing on the market.
