Awesome product for my night routine I’ve been looking for a super moisturizing oil that I can use prior to going to bed. In the past I’ve been using butters on my beard but each seems to have stopped being affective by the time I wake up in the morning. Usually my beard is very thirsty, so I guess a lot of the oil‘s in the butters are absorbed away and I wake up a little on the dry side. I went ahead and tried the heavy beard oil and have found that I wake up in the morning fully moisturized and soft and ready to tackle the day. I know the heavy beard oil is more like a bomb, and it’s thickness helps to control the beard throughout the day. However, I’ve tried using it at night and have not found anything equally as moisturizing. At the end of the day I make sure to give my beard a good washing and use a good co-wash to condition in the shower. But before bed I make sure I hit the heavy oil to give my beard a good overnight moisturizing. This is the best I found for my beard needs.
First time heavy oil user I use this before going to bed, it feels oily to the touch but my skin and beard soaks in the oil and the next morning my beard still feels moisturized. I work outdoors and I’ve recently used it the morning before work and the feel lasted the day, the scent not so much. The Night Cap scent is a little off you could smell some of the lime and smell a trace of lavender. I would buy again because of the way it does work with moisturizing and styling hold.
Good product, off scent. So the product itself is great. You can feel the softness in your beard hair with some hold to keep it in shape. The scent of Night Cap isn't up to par, though. I smell a tiny hint of lavender, but it overwhelmingly smells synthetic, almost like plastic. I'll definitely buy again, but it'll be a different scent.
