Firm Bristle Brush I had previously purchased the soft bristle brush last year. I had been happy with the quality construction and how it fit my hand but thought it was time to add a Firm Bristle brush to the arsenal. My beard hair is thick and slightly wavy and the new Firm Bristle brush really helps to keep everything in order. Quality construction and I prefer the shape and feel of this brush over the oval shape of the Soft Bristle brush. Although I do like the black finish on the Soft Bristle brush better but that's just being picky. And for the price, you can't go wrong. Another stellar product from Texas Beard Company.

Firm Brush This is a fantastic brush, especially for the money. I love brushing my beard throughout the day and it greatly helps with distributing the beard balm. I started off with the "soft" brush, because I thought the "firm" brush would be too rough on my face. Boy was I wrong. When I finally broke down and bought the "firm" brush, I realized that it worked twice as well as the "soft" brush. Even for my small beard. It wasn't rough on my face at all and it brushed through my beard easier. If I could go back and do it over again, I would have purchased the "firm" brush from the start. I do not have a big beard... yet... but the "firm" brush is definitely my preference to the "soft" brush. Both are great.
First beard brush This is my first beard brush so nothing to compare it to, but I am very happy with my purchase!
For a bigger beard I bought the Firm brush because the soft brush was for my smaller beard. I found this brush controls the length much better.
Get one ASAP. Way better than my previous brush. Doesn't rip my hair out. No longer torture to brush out my bed beard in the morning. Love it.

Good brush for taming the mane! Nice simple wooden brush with very stiff bristles. I have a well maintained beard (about 3ish + inches or so and growning) and wanted to keep the healthy, soft, and groomed trend going. I'm a GM of a small dealership and have to look clean, doing so while growing a real beard is a challenge. Some highly recommended was, beard balm, a comb, and this brush keep it on track! Great Beard Companion I got this brush for a Christmas gift this year and I love it! It feels great on your face without causing irritation. I use a balm and/or oil at some point everyday to keep my man mane healthy and tamed. This brush not only feels good but is a great tool to assist in even distribution of oils and balms throughout the ol' chin curtain.
Great brush This brush is good. The bristles feel good on my skin, not too rough, but enough to exfoliate a little bit. The stiff brush is what you want for a thick beard. Have had for a bit and the bristles have stayed in. Looks pretty good, too!
Great brush I bought this because I used to use a small comb that didn't really get all the hairs in line. This brush is big, gets all the hairs in line and leaves my beard looking full and clean. Everyone with a full beard should have this.
Great Brush This brush is the perfect size. It allows me to spread the oil evenly and groom the beard. If you have a short beard and sensitive skin, the other brush offered by TBC may suit you better. If your beard is fuller, this is your brush.

Great brush Well I really wasn't for ste if I would like the brush, but man it feels awesome on my beard. I could brush all day. I catch myself all day picking the brush up and giving myself a little touch up.
great brush what more could one ask for? it's been on my counter near my oil, balm, and heavy oil since the day i received it. 11/10 recommend. my beard is 4" to 5" long
Great brush This is an excellent brush and you definitely can't beat the price. I've had similar brushes that cost 3-4x as much, but weren't any better quality. The firm brush is perfect for longer/thicker beards and is a little rougher on the skin as compared to the soft brush. However, by simply learning how to brush your beard.... you probably won't scratch your skin.... Anyway, the softer brush is probably better suited for people with shorter beards. Personally, I recommend getting both. I've purchased or 3 of the firm brushes over the years and about 5 or 6 of the soft brushes (lost a few). I keep a brush at home, in my car, and at my desk at work. Highly recommend!
