This is the fourth different kind of oil I’ve tried from Texas Beard Company and as expected the product is amazing I’d recommend getting this one if it hasn’t sold out yet.

Barley and Hops Beard Oil I find this product good for when you want the beard oil but a manly scent. A good scent for going to the local brewery for a few.

Shaggy As advertised

Barley & Hops Beard Oil True to name, this beard oil will have your face smelling like your favorite craft brewery. It's a earthy smell and if you aren't into beers, one might describe it as musty. My wife owns a craft beer restaurant so after an application of this new oil, I asked her to give it a whiff and tell me if she could identify the aroma. After some investigative sniffs, she looked at me quizzically & said it smells like hops? Spot on! This isn't something I use every day, it's a bit of a novelty but if you are into beer, this is for you.

Stale Beer Not my favorite scent, the first day I used it my wife commented that I smelled like stale beer.

Barley and hops This scent is terrible. My honest first reaction when I opened it was confusion because I expected citrus from hops and sweet grain from barley. However, when I put the oil in my beard it smelled like cow manure. This is by far the worst scent I’ve ever had for a a beard oil.

Maybe the scent comes with age? Love most of the oil here. Always get a big bottle of pine, I like the nighttime one, and the coffee one is amazing. All great, subtle scents. Use them every day.



This one did not have much of a scent at all though. Maybe it becomes more aromatic with aging?



I'll just leave it in the bathroom cabinet until I use all my other oil, and maybe it'll have a scent by then. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy it if you're looking for a scent.
