Nice brush! 1st let me say it was super fast shipping. The brush is very nice. Just the right size. Firm enough to get through the beard but not so stiff as to be scratchy. It holds it's bristles very well, hasn't lost one yet. I sanded the finish off the handle and am letting the oils I use soak in to the wood. Looks even better that way.
no more dry skin I got the firm beard brush for my husband because he has been having problems with dry skin under his beard. After using the brush everyday for 2 weeks, the dry skin has gone away because the bristols disperse his natural oils. And his beard looks great. Thanks Texas Beard Co.!
Not firm enough Good quality just not strong enough to go through my beard
Not what I expected I originally bought the soft brush because they were out of the firm brush. Now that my beard is thicker I purchased this firm beard brush hoping the bristles would be firm like a comb to rush down the hair, but it wasn't. The bristles were not much more firm then the soft brush.
Now I know how a cat feels Ever see a cat enthusiastically rubbing its face on something bristly? Yeah, that's how this feels, I imagine. Brushing out my beard when I'm just out of the shower is a treat, and as far as I can tell it does a great job of distributing beard oil.

Perfection. I ordered one of these for myself, and one for my brother as a surprise. My old brush was worn out, and needed to be put to rest. The last brush I had was good, but this one is far superior. It feels great every time I use it. My brother loved it as well. He's new to facial hair, and couldn't believe how good it felt to brush what he had. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality beard brush.
Prefer this brush over combs Opted for the firm version of this brush for my medium length (~1-1.5") beard, glad I did. I've found I prefer a brush over a comb, and I had been using a cheap hairbrush with similar but softer bristles. This feels better in the hand, is easier to use, and the added stiffness does a better job at keeping stragglers in line. Most days I rub in a balm before using, which this brush distributes evenly (still pleased with results on lazy days when I don't use any products). Bristles are glued in, but haven't noticed any shedding after 3-4 weeks use. Some bristles were bent upon receipt, as it arrived "naked" in a padded mailer; while this is largely dependent on how rough the package is handled in transit, perhaps having it contained in its own box inside the mailer would decrease the likelihood of this occuring; in any event, this doesn't seem to detract from the brush's effectiveness. It's stamped with another company's logo, so does not appear to be made in-house. Overall, this brush gets the job done, and I would recommend it - if you're on the fence over soft vs. firm like I was, and you have anything more than long stubble, I'm sure you'd be similarly pleased by going with the firm.

Solid product and customer service The BF loves the beard brush! He says it feels really good to brush his beard, and it makes him look less scraggly and makes his beard softer! This is definitely for shorter beards.
Also - the customer service is great. I had actually ordered the brush about a month before I got it, because of some shipping problems (careful when attempting to ship abroad..). Because the brush never arrived, Ryan at TBC was kind enough to refund me the price of the brush, and the second one I ordered came super speedily!
Spreads oil and control and falling out I love the brush for the longest time I've been trying to purchase a beard brush and this was the only place that had it in Stock. If you don't have a long beard then this brush might be a bit much for you but it's great when it comes to evenly distributing beard oil to the rest of your beard in casevery you missed an area plus it gives it the even shine that you look for pit of a new oil. Now consider the only concern is had within the first 3 days of me owning the brush the bristles were already coming out in bunches making me loose the feel of this being a premium brush it was disheartening to see that I already had 2 ports where the bristles had easily fallen out

This brush is awesome!! My husband loves the brush. You can definitely tell when he does and doesn't use it because when he does his beard looks well groomed. Great brush. Bristles are pretty stiff and that's a good thing because they reach down to the skin and exfoliate as I brush. Slips through the hair easily and separates the tangle briar patches under the corners of my mouth. I think brushing is a big part of the softness equation whether you're talking beard or head hair.
