Big Beard Comb Review I received my Big Beard Comb today - this isn't just the best functional beard comb I have ever had and used, it is a work of fine craftsmanship that is at once both rugged and artful. I have a big, thick beard that comes down to the middle of my chest. I used to fight to get my other beard combs through my beard - but the Big Beard Comb glides right through and it leaves my beard looking better than it ever has! I will be recommending this to all of my bearded brothers!
Big beard comb, WOW! OK, Older guy, about 8 months of full beard, white, thick, and bitchin. I needed a real beard comb to treat the thatch with love. Enter Texas Beard Co. This handmade comb they advertised looked perfect and was beautiful. Wide spaced teeth are perfect for a longer and thicker beard without doing doing damage. Plus, It picks up my beard oil sent, and I look even more bitchen than before.
Chin-sage I just got my very first TBC beard comb, and it feels like a chin massage every time I use it. I love this product and will be recommending it to anyone with facial hair. Maybe even anyone without it in hopes that they'll grow a beard just to buy this come and feel the amazing-ness.
Decent comb, not sure it's worth the money I have a very, very thick and long beard. The wood on this comb is certainly quality and it's well crafted, but the teeth are very wide apart. So this isn't necessarily a comb I would use when I really want to shape my beard after showering and putting oil in it. However, it is a great comb for using when I just want to comb it out a little bit without having to deal with the pain of pulling out knots that I'd get from a Kent. Like a middle of the day, quick reshaping comb, I guess. And that's fine, I'm just not sure having something for that sole purpose is worth 24 bucks.

Good if you have a big beard! The comb is well made and finished and a good, manly size which does make it one to leave at home unless you have massive pockets (for everyday carry i'd recommend a Kent folding comb). The teeth are pretty wide apart so it won't be ideal for someone with a small beard (mine is pretty thick and about 4 inches long at it's longest and if my beard was any smaller or thinner it'd pretty much be useless) and it won't shape your beard by forcing all the hairs in one direction or the other, just get rid of the knots and tangles (it's up to you whether that's a good thing or not). It's certainly a good looking, masculine product, and would fit in with any caveman's grooming drawer, next to his warpaint and his necklace of enemies teeth.
Good quality The comb is obviously well-made and of high-quality materials. Unfortunately, I find the teeth are slightly too far apart to be particularly effective. I would love to see a similar comb with the teeth maybe 20-30% closer. That would be perfect.

Great effort... I had high hopes for this comb. My beard is long, dense, and curly. My first issue is the spacing of the comb teeth - the comb could not easily glide through. I recommend wider tooth spacing. The other issue I encountered is the grains of the wood raising on the comb. This contributes to catching & pulling and unnecessary lost hairs. Perhaps finer finishing or even different wood choices may address this issue. All in all I appreciate the idea of this comb, and hope for a wider option for epic beardsman such as myself.
Great made in the USA quality maybe a bit too coarse I absolutely love the made in the USA quality of this comb (although just so you know, if you try to chip food off of the counter with it, even once, the handle is likely to chip...we'll call that operator error). I am very impressed with the feel of it. I wish they made a regular handle type comb like this. I also think that it might be a bit coarse. I have an 8" beard that is fairly thick. I am on the whole very pleased though and going to purchase their beard balm based on the positive impression I got from this purchase. Thanks guys not bad for a bunch of Texans.
Great tool for long beards! At first sight I thought this comb was a little smaller than anticipated, but after using it I realized that it was the perfect size. It engages the beard in manageable pieces, which make removing tangles much easier. Using it from the neck line up, it adds volume to my beard without snagging. The blunt ends take some getting used to as they do not feel like a comb, but more like small fingers. My beard is about ten inches long, and the teeth manage to handle it with ease. The quality is good, and the appearance is pleasing. I use this comb every day and don't know how I got by without it.
