The best beard oil and balm This is my third purchase of the Texas Beard Company 'Big Thicket'-scented oil (and second for the balm). I keep coming back to this one simply because it's the best. I love the outdoor woodsy forest scent. Now if only I could keep the squirrels out of my beard...

I've use many different companies and brands with cool logos and manes etc, but they dont have the quality that Texas beard company has . The goods... So far I've tried the Clove Citrus as well as the Mint Eucalyptus. Both are exactly what I was hoping for as far as scent is concerned. The oil is an absolute must after showering, and the balm goes in anytime when I need some control over this burly beast I have on my face. Two thumbs up!!
The oil and beard balm combo the way to go ! Just received my combo pack of big thicket beard balm and oil and was pleasantly surprised that I got it before Christmas. I'm new to beard care but not having one and I've done the research and these guy are legit. Quality is paramount to these guys since each product is handmade and signed. The smell is amazing with notes of pine, mint and fresh cut cedar. Being a carpenter and lover of the woods this products smell appeals to me greatly while not having too strong an odor. The balm so far is my favorite as it conditions yet has a great hold that adds volume to my beard.. this stuff makes my beard feel like a minx coat. Give it a try you wont be sorry.

The perfect duo for my beard. I don't know why my beard stayed with me without this stuff. My life with a beard is now split between two eras, and I am now living in the glorious Golden Age of Post-Texas Beard, Co Enlightenment. Using this combo with one of the beard brushes has completely gotten rid of beard flakes and itchiness. I didn't know that was even a possibility.
I use the Mint Eucalyptus Beard Oil at night and the Clove Citrus Beard Balm in the morning before work. I am pretty convinced that the peppermint oil helps me fall asleep at this point. The Clove Citrus Beard Balm is more clove than citrus, but it is still very nicely balanced. I'm looking forward to trying all of the scents of the Beard Balm, but the Mint Eucalyptus Beard Oil is is perfect for me.
The scent factor I bought this as a gift & the product works well but the Citrus/Clove scent was very disappointing.
The search is over! I purchased the oil and balm combo and both are exactly what I've been looking for and hit the market on every point. No matter how much I use, my beard absorbs it and leaves it the softest it's ever been. The balm is luxurious, giving me an even deeper softness. I love that they only use essential oils, the fragrance oils other companies use are more like colognes. These are subtle and enjoyable. As far as I'm concerned, they've got me for life.
The stuff works I was rubbing the faces of my girlfriends raw. Dry beard. I used the oil and balm. Voila! After a few weeks my beard was noticeably softer. Too bad I haven't tried it out on a new lady, the last one got tired of my cactus face. Oh well!
