Tin vs Tube?? I like the Tin! I have tried both Texas Beard and Beard Barons mustache wax and I think I will stick with Texas Beard for now. I prefer the Tin over the Tube as the BB was tended to ball up into little hard balls when I rubbed it in between my fingers and in my mustache. Texas Beard was is very smooth... great texture and easy to get into the 'stache. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5-out-of-5 was that there is only one scent. I will give Beard Baron that... they have great scents... so watch out Texas Beard... if BB switches to Tins, I might have to try them out again because they do have nice scents... but until then, make mine Texas Beard!!

Works great! This stuff works good in taming my husband's beard, I just wish it smelled better. I know it is unscented, I cannot wait until we can get it in citrus.

I recently ordered the mustache wax for my husband. He's not real thrilled with it because it don't hold the curl very well. But his beard is some kind of crazy so it may work just fine for others.

Good for a medium hold, however needs to be reapplied through the day. Nice natural smell.

Mustache wax Like the product with the exception that it is very stiff. Softening with a hairdryer helps but not easy to use.

Mustache Wax Well it is wax; have to use my pocket knife to remove, then it can be used on mustache. A LITTLE goes a LONG way.

Mustache wax My first attempt at growing out my mustache. Wax is easy to use and does the trick. I'd like a bit stiffer hold.

Mustache wax Never tried until recently. Seems like you have to use a lot to get the mustache to hold in position. Maybe I'm not using it right. Still experimenting. Not much in the tin.

Not firm enough I like it, but it's hard to get enough to use on your fingers because it is so hard. I also wish that it was more firm.

Semi-Frustrated I purchased a Balm/Oil Combo, Firm Brush (which I love), and Mustache Wax. Now, it could be that I'm just new to the whole beard care thing. And, I'm not one to judge based on one bad experience. The beard balm doesn't come out of the very easily, I have to dig it out and once I pt it in my beard it doesn't really tame it, and it leaves my face greasy the rest of the day. But, it smells really good. The oil is what it is.. It adds a shine and smells really good. The Mustache Wax I haven't quite figured out yet. I just rub my finger in it, and nothing really comes out. I just leave a finger print. Am I supposed to melt it first? OH, and I got some Beard Soap, it lathers good, leaves a squeaky clean feeling. Anyway, that's my review so far. I'm not gonna rate yall based on this (even though I have to rate at least 1 to submit this form). Like I said, it could just be my unfamiliarity with the whole lifestyle.

The wax is not strong enough to hold my unruly mustache in place. I have applied large quantities and it is still not strong enough. Do you have another product that has a stronger hold?

It's not the wax, it's me! Texas Beard Company's products have been wonderful and fill my beard needs perfectly.

I've always wanted a subtle suggestion of a moustache style that suggests a handlebar but isn't a full blown curled style. My moustache refuses... Refuses! to allow any product I've tried to hold it in any position other than down. I've tried extra holds, super holds, multiple companies but.... Nothing holds at all more than 20 minutes. At all.

But I tried TBC because I love the other products. It has a good texture, less smell and less tacky feel but couldn't hold the moustache away from my mouth.

It's not TBC's fault. It's my moustache. If you've successfully used miystache wax in the past, I suggest giving it a try. But after multiple products by multiple companies AND taking time to train my moustache... It just ain't happening for me.

So 2/5 stars because no, it did not help me but no other products have either. Give it a try!

Meh Haven't gotten much use out of this. Stays pretty stiff in the container and takes some effort to warm up enough to use.
