It's the stuff! Ok. Being African American and having a really course beard it's hard for me to find products that tame my beard. Texas Beard co. is the solution! Forget that it makes my beard super soft, IT SMELLS FANTASTIC! AND IT LASTS ALL DAY!!! If you're on the fence, try it and you'll LOVE it! Awesome stuff!!

Keeps it tame. Have used the oils for almost 2 years. Oils were good, but still get some frizz with increased length. This balm helps shape it and keep it shaped. A nice addition for treating 'bad beard days'.

Like Em' Bought this balm sampler along with the oil sampler.. I liked the balms, but leave my beard slightly "greasy".. The oils soak in much faster ( with me anyway) , so I prefer the oils over the balms... They DO smell great and work well, just a preference thing I guess.... Still well worth the money as the sampler gives you plenty of product and variety....

Liquified product I’ve received it in liquid state because it liquefies at 80F and that was highly possible during shipping or storage. This product was shipped to me in Saudi Arabia BTW.

I’ve put it in the refrigerator and it returned back to solid state but I’m not sure if some ingredients were lost already.

I know it’s not Texas Beard Co. fault but this is something to consider for any future ideas you want to develop for your products. Maybe to add some preservation or such things.

LOVE I truly love this stuff. Doesn't leave my beard oily, but I love the look it gives my beard and the weight it almost adds.

Love it! After trying other beard balms, I find Texas Beard balm to be the perfect consistency. Not oily and easy to apply. I love it!

Love these I've always been more into oil than balm, but these are fantastic. Wasn't sure which flavour to get so got the trial pack. Not big on the citrus but is good for a change up every now and then, the others smell very nice. They are a lot better than other balms I have tried and are very easy to use. They melt in the hands and are easily applied and hold the beard in place as they should.

Love this variety pack I love that you can try out the different scents, and the size makes taking the balm on trips much easier. My husbands beard is much softer, and definitely less unruley then it was just a few weeks ago.

Loving the Sampler Pack Snooped around the internet for a while looking for some beard balm. I didn't want to pay the price to be all in on a specific scent before it hit my olfactory bulbs. So when I saw that Texas Beard had a sampler pack... I jumped on it. And is has not disappointed. This is the first time I have purchased beard balm (in fact, it's my first "adult" beard, and I'm 55 yrs old!). It does what it promises. I especially like that it has tamed the many wild gray hairs that need some coaxing. And I really like that I can try on four difference scents before I commit to the larger jar of balm. Thanks to TBC for putting together a sampler pack. Gotta go and order my next balm.

Mmm balmy So as per my usual M.O. I can't make very finite decisions so I opted for the variety pack of balm scents. I use the balms as they have a bit more staying power for my ever extending facial locks. I've long used the clove citrus aroma in the standard size and have enjoyed it for months...but I like variety.



So instead of buying one new scent I got the smaller size variety pack including three brand new scents and the old stand by, clove citrus as mentioned above. My new flavors included Night Cap, Mint Eucalyptus, and big thicket.



Big Thicket smells how it sounds, like walking face first into a piney juniper berry. The smell admittedly comes on strong at first and is almost too strong but that fades within a few minutes and gives the occasional pleasant wiff throughout the rest of the day. Overall rating.....pretty good.



Night Cap goes a different direction. Not sure if it's the one I got or if my sniffer just can't pick up what this smells like if anything. I honestly cannot smell this one. Overall rating meh, the product however does still hold just doesn't smell much if at all.



Mint Eucalyptus, superstar of the bunch. I'm partial to that menthol aroma so now that I get to smear it all up in my beard I'm pretty happy. Overall rating....mmmm minty.

Smell preferences are all subjective so to each his own but I was pretty happy overall.

More scents It would be nice to be able to get all the balm scents in the smaller size. This size is great for travel where the larger size does not travel well due to the size of the container. I have reused my Big Thicket trial size container to put The Green Belt balm in to travel with.

Mustache wax I wish the container was smaller. It seems kind of like bulky plastic and I like to carry it in my pocket. Otherwise, I’m happy with the scents and the product overall.

Nice addition to the oils A friend sent me a trial four pack of the beard oil, a supply that I went through faster than I thought I would (as I came to use it after every shave and shower) and so I figured I would try the balm for how much I liked the oil. Similar to the oil, in that its use has completely eliminated any itchiness previously experienced from growing out the beard or shaving/trimming. Also similar to the oils, my wife has noticed the beard is "less pokey", so it's definitely making it softer. The variety of scents are nice, none are too strong. I really like the consistency of the balm, and it seems to perk up the beard after a shower. I plan to buy more of the balms and the oils when they run out.

Nice product These samples are a great size. Plenty of product to try, but not so much that it feels like a waste if you don't like one.



My favorite balm is the Mint Eucalyptus. It has a clean, fresh scent that is exhilarating. Also seems to help open a stuffy nose.



The tumbleweed is great to use at bedtime. Although it is unscented, the natural smell of the ingredients is there. It actually smells very nice. It is mild enough that it does not distract me while trying to fall asleep.



The Clove Citrus balm smells tasty. Reminds me of the fall and winter holidays. Also kinda reminds me of a summer Bay Rum without the rum.



I thought I would like Big Thicket the best. I love essential oils of various evergreen trees. But for some reason, Big Thicket doesn't do it for me. I don't dislike it; it just ended up being my least favorite of the bunch. That said, I still think it smells nice. I think I would like it better if it was either cedar OR pine, but not both.



Overall I'm impressed with the quality of the balm. It is just as moisturizing as oil, and it makes the beard look nice.

On the fence ! Smells are great, holds well. But the product is too hard for my liking. I followed the directions to soften ... which worked .... but the next morning it was hard as a rock again.

Perfect for many reasons Not only do I love all the scents but this is perfect if you'd like to try more scents or just looking for travel sizes for vacation. Another great by TBC
